Greyshirts are selected based on the availability, deployment readiness, and operational needs on the ground.

Readiness:

If you have not yet deployed with Team Rubicon, please visit the Ready to Deploy page in Roll Call to ensure you are ready to go!
The Mobilization team will notify you of any missing pre-requisites or requirements that may inhibit your ability to deploy.

Communications:

Dispatch orders/updates should go out at a minimum of 48 hours prior to your first listed day of availability, but can sometimes come down to the wire with the earlier phases of response operations.

Stand-down notifications may not go out until after the wave you signed up for has started.

Updates might be issued if we are waiting on status reports from the field, adjusting to changing needs, or are waiting on donated flight support from partners.

DO NOT Self-deploy under any circumstance!

Self-deployment can be reason for suspension or removal from the organization.

Please know that the Mobilization team can get hundreds of Greyshirts requesting to be deployed and it takes some time for the team to go through all the responses and make selections based off the current operational needs.

Your patience is always appreciated!
