A Greyshirt could be stood down for a couple of reasons:
- We didn't receive a response to our reconfirmation email in the required amount of time.
- No response to re-confirmation emails is treated as withdrawal from consideration for an operation.
- The operational needs changed. Examples include:
- Less Greyshirts are required for an operation.
- Scope type has changed.
- Amount of work has reduced.
