There is nothing more frustrating than being ready to jump in and learn and then running into roadblocks!

Here are a few helpful tips to ensure a more successful journey!

If you are using a mobile device (cell phone, tablet):

If you are on a laptop or desktop computer (Mac or PC):

  • Cornerstone works best using Google Chrome

Troubleshooting checks:

  • Pop-up blockers: Make sure they are disabled
  • Firewalls: Make sure that "teamrubiconusa" and "cornerstone" domains are on your approved list
  • Reset your cache
  • Launch an incognito/inPrivate/Private Window browser
  • Reboot

If you are getting an SSO Error:

  • You might have multiple accounts (most likely by accident), please file a Help Desk ticket here.

When you are taking online classes:

  • Best practice is to take a course all on one type of device or the other
  • Review any videos to the end
  • Use any Next/Continue buttons to advance
  • Verify the checkmarks are all complete in the left side navigation bar
  • Verify the Completed Status states "100% Completed" in the left side navigation bar
  • Take a screenshot/photo of your "Congratulations! You have Completed...." page or the results of your quiz!
    • Should you have a sync problem, this is the quickest way to show us you completed the course
    • Example of acceptable completion screenshots:

    • Example of NOT acceptable completion screenshot:

  • At the end of the course, use the Exit Course button on the page instead of closing the browser window
  • REMEMBER: it takes the system approximately an hour AFTER you have finished your course for Roll Call to reflect you have completed it
    • This means that if you took a pre-requisite class online and are now trying to sign up for an in-person training event (eg: Sawyer 1, Site Survey, etc) you will have to wait about an hour to do so

Should you need to submit a Help Desk Ticket, please include:

  • Screenshots of any error messages, course completion pictures you took
  • The browser and device information
  • The nature of the problem
  • Any steps you have tried taking to resolve
